Feeding the Birds

(picture: Luang Por's bird table)
Last week subscribers of this news-blog received multiple copies of one of our postings (coincidentally called 'Back Again'). It was one of those programming glitches that occur from time to time. Life can be so unpredictable, like the weather: one day it's snowing, the next it's almost as warm as it was in summer. The spring bulbs are already showing, unaware of what could lie ahead. A generous donation of birdseed means we can keep our winged friends fed; rain, ice or snow. A generous donation of firewood means the main house is kept warm. Dr. Vu travelled all the way up from London to spend the weekend. Anagarika Martin's mother has flown in from Brittany. We are without Anthony-the-Kitchen Manager for a week while he visits home, but there are several guests. Yesterday we did a trip to a local charity that helps the homeless and needy, sharing out some of the generosity we receive. Next Friday will be Full Moon Day.
