Winter Retreating

The Full Moon for this month falls today, Thursday 1st March; the next New Moon will be on Friday 16th March. We are now two thirds of the way through our winter retreat. Although the weather outside is certainly chillsome we are fortunate in our supply of wood, gas and electricity. We are similarly fortunate to have each other's company and the help of a considerate community of friends and supporters. The ongoing building project continues to be interrupted by the weather but inches forward towards completion. Tan Rathapalo's visa application was sadly ensnared by the bureaucratic process but we haven't completely given up hope that he will still be able to join us. Luang Por Munindo is expected to offer a Dhamma talk on Sunday 4th March on the theme of wisdom.
