Today, Friday 9th, is the New Moon day for the month of February 2024.
The next Uposatha Day will be the Full Moon, which falls on Saturday, 24th February, 2024.
Current residents at the monastery are: Luang Por Munindo, Ajahn Punnyo, Tan Samacitto, Samanera Nibbuto, Samanera Thitapemo, and Anagarika Craig.
On the evening of Tuesday, 16th January 2024, which was the anniversary of the passing of our teacher Venerable Ajahn Chah, a Dhamma talk titled, 'Naturally Deepening Understanding', was given by Luang Por Munindo.
On 25th January 2024 the new website dhammakatha.org went live. This is a platform for Buddhist practitioners to submit written questions via email. Responses by Luang Por Munindo, in audio format, are all under 15 minutes. New material is posted each New Moon and Full Moon.
The sangha at Aruna Ratanagiri Monastery continues to be on Winter Retreat.
