Settling In

The New Moon for this month is today, Wednesday 3rd August. Last week was a quiet week with residents and guests settling into a period of silence and solitude. Ajahn Go seems to be settling into living in the somewhat cooler, wetter climes of Northumberland. We look forward to our new Kitchen Manager, Justin Vaillant, settling into his role in the kitchen. Justin joined us just prior to the silent week and has committed to being here at least until after the Winter Retreat 2017. For this next week we are expecting a full-house of guests participating in the annual summer retreat, led by Ajahn Abhinando. And it is a joy to have both Rolf Henrik-from-Norway and Jonathan-from-Germany back with us and taking care of cooking during the retreat.
