Entering Rains Retreat - 2560/2017
This year the traditional Entering Rains Retreat (kaaw punsar) will be observed at Aruna Ratanagiri on Sunday 9th July. All welcome. In the morning there will be the usual shared meal; it is recommended you try to be here by 10.00am with formal proceedings expected to begin around 10.30am. After determining the 5 Precepts, the Paritta are to be chanted while offerings of rice are being placed in the alms-bowls (dtak bart). A short Dhamma Talk is to follow before the actual offering of the meal. Later in the evening, as part of evening puja, Luang Por Munindo will offer a Dhamma talk.
